Office Move Reopening Priorities: Which Teams and Workstations Need to Be Functional First
An office move is not finished when every desk is placed. It is useful when the business can make calls, schedule work, and keep tasks moving. We plan San Diego office relocations around function first, not the easiest room to clear.
Before delivery, rank teams by what they unblock: reception, dispatch, scheduling, customer response, billing, approvals, and shared systems like internet, phones, and access. If one station stops work from moving forward, it belongs in the first setup wave. Executive spaces can wait if they do not start first-day workflows.
Labels should show team, function, and priority, not just room. Staging nonessential items separately helps the move team place critical systems, equipment, and first-wave boxes in the right order.
